Vitamin A and Eye Health

Vitamin A is derived from a powerful group of compounds that are drawn from animal and plant sources. These chemicals are referred to as retinoids, and help maintain your immune system.

Vitamin A is a precursor for cell growth in the stomach and respiratory system. It also helps with eye, skin and blood health.

Signs of a Vitamin A deficiency include: dizziness, night blindness, decreased appetite, weak smell, and decreased taste sensations.

The daily recommended amount of Vitamin A is 5,000 I.U.
